Overview
Jamaica offers hundreds of miles of white crisp sandy beaches and the most stunning landscapes.  Montego Bay is the best know resort in Jamaica and if you enjoy somewhere lively then this is the place to be with its  “Hip Strip” offering a good selection of bars and shops. Whereas Negril is a more laid back area with a 7 mile beach to relax on you can see why. Ocho Rios is a great place to go if you enjoy being near the major attractions as well duty-free shopping.

Culture
Jamaica is a colourful island and hosts a wide range of festivals and events all year round including local and international festivals. Jamaica is home to Reggae music made famous by Bob Marley and Jamaica likes to celebrate its musical back ground with many festivals including Reggae Sumfest and Reggae Sunsplash.

Cuisine
The island offers many different cuisines by the different people who have made Jamaica their home over the years. Jamaica has many exceptional restaurants which offer an array of dining styles: Jamaican, American, Continental, East Indian, Chinese and Italian cuisines, among others. Every November there is an annual Restaurant week which is great for sampling the different cuisine which is made fresh in front of you.

Beaches
Jamaica is home to over 200 beaches, meaning it’s a great holiday destination for beach lovers. The water is great for snorkelers and divers with 50 different species of coral. Or if you prefer you can enjoy the Caribbean Sea from under your palm tree.

Climate
Jamaica has the typical tropical climate with the high temperatures all year round. Average temperature ranges from 19 degrees Celsius (66 degrees Fahrenheit) to 32 degrees Celsius (99 degrees Fahrenheit). The island sees two rainy seasons from May to June and September to November. The rain is normal tropical showers, pours it down and then a few moments later opens up to sunshine.
